View of the Reims Cathedral, southeast side, in ruins after the bombings of World War I, with destroyed buildings in the foreground. The reverse features a dated correspondence from 22 August 1920, addressed to Mme E. Herm in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor), with a 10-centime postage stamp and a Reims cancellation.
