View of the church square in Remenoville in 1914, showing houses severely damaged by war. The printed text above the landscape indicates 'The War of 1914' and 'Ruined Houses'. On the reverse, a handwritten correspondence dated 16.10.1915 is addressed to Madame Marguerite in Lyon (Yonne), with a stamp and cancellation of 'BESANÇON' dated 15.10.1915.
