Description

View of the Notre-Dame Church in Rennes, former Abbey Church of Saint-Melaine, serving as a cathedral until the Revolution. The printed text indicates that it was restored to worship in 1844, that the tower is built on Romanesque foundations and dates from the 17th century, and that the dome and third floor are from the middle of the 19th century.
