Description

Postcard showing the Duguesclin House in Rennes, a timber-framed building with several windows with open shutters. The printed text recalls Duguesclin's role as defender of the city against the Duke of Lancaster between 1356 and 1357. On the reverse, a handwritten letter is addressed to Mrs. Chariot in Paris, with a 20-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation mark from Rennes dated April 9, 1912.
