Description

Interior of the Assizes Court in the Palace of Justice in Rennes, showing exceptional oak sculptures in a remarkable style, attributed to Dumesnil (1660). The decor is richly adorned with a carved ceiling and a central chandelier. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Héry-Rousseille, publisher, Rennes' and a note on correspondence on the front.
