Description

Interior view of the Assizes Court in the Palace of Justice in Rennes, highlighting the oak sculptures in the grand style attributed to Dumesnil (1600). The ornate stucco ceiling and richly decorated woodwork emphasize the solemn architecture. On the reverse, a handwritten correspondence addressed to Marguerite Journans in Lyon, with a mention 'To the clientele' and a handwritten date '8-18'.
