Interior view of the Hall of Assizes in the Palace of Justice in Rennes, showing opulent architecture with an ornate ceiling and a central chandelier. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to 'My dear Andoinette' and a 10-centime French Republic postmark, canceled in Rennes on September 14, 1912, with a destination stamp to Valognes (Manche).
