View of the Palais du Commerce in Rennes, an imposing building with arcades and a gabled roof, surrounded by a garden with a few people. Printed text at the bottom: '113. - RENNES. — Palais du Commerce (begun in 1885 on the plans of M. Martenot, architect, completed in 1930, M. Le Ray architect)'. Reverse: handwritten address to Paris, 30-centime stamp, postmark 'RENNES GARE' of 2 September 1932, and cancellation 'LES CIGARETTES CELTIQUES'.
