Description

Black and white view of Place de la République in Rennes, showing the Nouvelles Galeries, Haussmann-style buildings, and a central fountain. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 29 June 1954, sent from Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) to Paris, with a French postage stamp and a Rennes cancellation.
