Description

Black and white view of Richmond Lock, with a boat filled with passengers under an arched bridge. The printed text at the bottom indicates 'RICHMOND LOCK'. On the reverse, a handwritten address is directed to 'Mme Duke, a St Tirmin, Cise', with a postmark from Chantilly dated 28 May 1905. A green 5 pence stamp is affixed and canceled.
