Postcard showing the monumental entrance of the Maritime Prefecture of Rochefort, adorned with the inscriptions 'LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ' and the maritime crest. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence addressed to M. Labarthe in Port-Vendres, with a 40-centime postage stamp and a Rochefort-sur-Mer cancellation dated August 30, 1933. The publisher is R. Bergevin, La Rochelle.
