Black and white view of the Via Appia Antica in Rome, with ruins, cypresses, and a central path. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame st. Monien Gausserant in Milan, an Italian 25 centesimi stamp, and a postal mark from Rome dated 5 November 1953. The publisher is Adolfo Como, Rome.
