View of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, seen from the Porta Cavalleggeri, with three people in period costume on a path in the foreground. Reverse: postcard dated April 18, 1909, sent from Rome to Bollene (France) with a red 10 centesimi stamp and a postmark from Ferrovia. The handwritten note mentions the beatification of the Virgin Mary and the return from a mission.
