Description

Postcard showing a Renaissance-style house with balcony and ornate windows, located in Rouen. The reverse contains a handwritten letter dated Tuesday, August 6, 1886, addressed to « My dearest Miss Ethel », mentioning a trip to Paris and a visit to Mr. Brunon's house. The recipient's address is « Ms Ethel Knox Little, The College, Worcester, England ». A French postage stamp from 1886 and a cancellation stamp « ROUEN GARE » are visible.
