View of the famous medieval clock of Rouen, adorned with sculpted details and topped with a sundial, framing a paved street with a few pedestrians. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Rouen Station on 23/9/1949 to Madame B. Dietrich in Paris, with a blue 40-centime stamp and a handwritten inscription evoking the gentle France and the beauty of the city.
