Description

View of the cathedral in Rouen, with printed text detailing its history: begun in 1202, the Saint-Romain tower is a remnant of the old Romanesque church, the Butter Tower built from 1497 to 1509, and the spire rebuilt from 1514–1822. Reverse: postcard sent from Rouen on September 19, 1932, stamped with 20 francs, addressed to Miss Loret in Charenton (Seine), with handwritten text from the sender.
