Description

Postcard showing a wild sea crashing against the Margate quay, with ship masts and a lighthouse in the background. On the reverse, handwritten address to 'Mme J. Crieure, Château de Criquernille, near Lillebonne, France (Lower Hainaut)' and postmark 'SILLEBORN' dated 12 July 1917. A red 1 penny (1917) stamp is affixed at the top right.
