Black-and-white panoramic view of the buildings of Puy Chateix and Paradis in Royat-les-Bains, perched on a steep hill. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 26/5/1919 addressed to 'Mon cher Katen', mentioning a return to civilian life after the war and a promise to visit Madeford. The postmark is canceled 'ROYAT-LES-BAINS'.
