Description

Black and white view of the ruins of the church in Rubescourt (Somme), with collapsed walls and broken beams. The reverse features handwritten correspondence dated February 1, 1918, addressed to Madame Ételle Bétauft in Paris, describing the state of the church after the war and mentioning the construction of a new building. The postmark and cancellation are illegible.
