View of the ruins of Sorel Castle, featuring a stone arch adorned with sculptures and vegetation. The printed text relates the history of the site: the fortress from the 10th century disappeared in the 13th century, then the castle was built in the 17th century by Charles VII for his favorite Agnès Sorel, nicknamed « La Dame de Beauté ».
