Description

Black and white view of a devastated street in Véron, with partially collapsed houses, damaged roofs, and scattered debris. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 5, 1916, addressed to 'Marie', mentioning the war and the difficulties of life in Véron. The postmark and cancellation are visible on the reverse.
