Description

Black and white view of the port of Les Sables-d'Olonne, with many sailing and rowing boats moored. In the background, buildings line the quay, including one with the inscription 'RAVILLY'. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Les Sables-d'Olonne on August 23, 1938, with two French stamps (20c and 10c) and an address to Mr. Grotet in Verneuil-sur-Seine. The handwritten text reads 'Affectueusement, Confor' and 'Marmette'.
