Historical illustration of Saint-Florentin in the 17th century, showing the town surrounded by crumbling fortifications with a church in the center. The printed text refers to the royal authorization by Charles IX in 1570 to rebuild it. On the reverse, the postcard bears a French postage stamp from 1900 and a Parisian postmark.
