Description

Black and white view of the interior courtyard of the Saint-Germain-en-Laye castle, with its arcaded galleries and architectural symmetry. On the back, a postcard dated August 7, 1939, sent from Paris (avenue de Villiers) to Madame Barrault in Paris (rue des Écoles), with two 20-centime stamps and a postmark from Paris 17th arrondissement.
