Seated statue of Thiers on an ornate pedestal, surrounded by a metal fence, with inscription 'THIERS / FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL OF STATE / COUNCIL OF STATE ADVISER / 1807-1885'. Reverse: green 20 centimes stamp canceled, handwritten address to Mademoiselle Berthe Maunier at Meantou, Seine et Oise, dated 1886.
