Black and white view of an animated beach at Saint-Gilles-sur-Vie, with swimmers, striped umbrellas, and aligned beach huts. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to J. Scholle in Paris, dated 1955, with a 15-cent postage stamp and a cancellation from Saint-Gilles-sur-Vie. The publisher JEHLY is mentioned at the bottom of the reverse.
