Description

Nighttime postcard of the Eckmühl lighthouse in Saint-Guenole-Penmarc'h, showing its powerful lighting and a compressed air siren. Printed text at the bottom of the front describes its height (65 m), intensity (86 million candles), and range (120 km). Reverse: handwritten text, French postage stamp of 20 centimes dated 1925, postmark 'FOR', and recipient address in Nantes.
