Postcard showing the Rock of the Cross in Saint-Guénolé-Penmarc'h, with an inscription describing the tragedy of the Prefect of Finistère's family in 1870. On the back, a handwritten address to Monsieur Gambetta Poitiers in Strasbourg, with a signature and a note 'Maitre souvenir de Bretagne' by B. Blondeau. A 30-centime French Republic stamp, postmarked Lorient on April 18, 1923.
