Panoramic view of Saint-Jean-de-Luz from the pines, with the river La Rhune in the foreground and timber-framed buildings in the background. The reverse has handwritten text, a 40-centime French Republic postage stamp, and a cancellation from Sainte-Hélène (Ariège) dated 22 August 1938.
