Description

Bust portrait of Louis de Saint-Just (1767-1794), in profile, wearing a revolutionary-era coat with a jabot and a starry insignia. The reverse indicates that he was a member of the Committee of Public Safety, delegate to the Army of the Rhine where he distinguished himself by his courage, and died on the scaffold in 1794. Publisher: Braun & Cie, Paris.
