View of the parish church in Saint-Maixent, with its imposing Gothic bell tower with a pointed spire. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Lipel in Paris, with a 14-cent postage stamp and a postmark from Saint-Maixent dated April 8, 1903.
