Black and white view of the Basins of Saint-Nazaire, showing an imposing modern residential building, a metal drawbridge, and boats in the foreground. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Madame Gambetta in Châtellenoult, an 8 franc stamp from the 'Valleys and the Andes' series, and a cancellation stamp from Saint-Nazaire dated 3 May 1956.
