Panoramic sepia view of a hilltop village in Italy, with a church with a bell tower dominating the rooftops. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated November 7, 1946, sent from Saint-Paul (Alpes-Maritimes) to a Madame, mentioning the landscape and memories. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the bottom left.
