View of Saint-Quentin City Hall with its Gothic architecture and bell tower, in front of which several people are standing. The back has a handwritten address to Madame Louise Raveneau in Chablis (Yonne), a 10-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation dated 17-12-1901 in Saint-Quentin. The front includes a calligraphed poem at the top and a signature 'Sincères compliments à Mesnil'.
