View of the Basilica of Saint-Quentin in ruins after the war, with rubble and people in the foreground. The reverse contains explanatory text about the destruction caused by the Germans in October 1918, a note about reserved correspondence, a 15-cent postage stamp, and a handwritten address to Clermont-Ferrand. The postmark indicates Saint-Quentin, Aisne, October 20, 1922.
