View of a ruined brothel, surrounded by vegetation, with a wooden door. Printed text at the bottom of the front indicates that it was inhabited by Alphonse Karr between 1860 and 1890. The reverse has handwritten correspondence dated January 21, 1926, addressed to Valenciennes, and a 1926 stamp with cancellation.
