Black and white view of a lake bordered by weeping willows, with two people fishing by the water. On the reverse, a postcard dated July 20, 1941, sent to Mr. Brocard in Saint-Savinie (Aube), with a 20 franc stamp and a handwritten inscription describing the location as a quiet and pleasant place. The publisher is Chequers Postaux, rue de la République in Paris.
