View of the monument Le Pain de Sucre in Sainte-Adresse, erected in memory of General Count Lefebvre Desnoëttes, who died in a shipwreck in Ireland on April 22, 1892. The general's widow, concerned about the fate of sailors, raised this monument at a point where he warned of misfortunes by signaling dangers. The back indicates a 5 franc stamp and an inscription 'Correspondance' at the top left.
