Description

View of the monument Le Pain de Sucre in Sainte-Adresse, erected in memory of General Comte Lefebure, a victim of a shipwreck in 1882. The printed text on the front mentions the monument's construction by the general's widow and her family to warn sailors of dangers. The back features a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur Albert Chriel in Château d'Oleron, with a blue stamp and a Sainte-Adresse cancellation.
