Description

View of the Sugar Loaf monument in Sainte-Adresse, erected in memory of General Count Lafebvre Desnoëttes who died in a shipwreck in 1892. The printed text explains that his widow had it built to prevent shipwrecks. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Mademoiselle Rose-Andrée in Suresnes, with a handwritten message: 'Nice souvenir from Havre'.
