Commemorative monument erected in memory of General Count Lefebvre-Desnouettes, who died in a shipwreck on the coast of Ireland on April 22, 1822. The general's widow, concerned for the welfare of sailors and their families, erected this monument at a point where it warned of shipwrecks. Reverse: French postage stamp of 25 centimes, postmark from Le Havre dated July 21, 1911, handwritten address to 'Sun Port' (Ses Paquebots).
