View of the Roman Arch of Saintes, an ancient three-arched monument, with a vehicle in the background and a cathedral visible in the distance. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 28, 1937, addressed to Madame Botouquy in La Rochelle, and a French postage stamp of 120 centimes.
