View of the tower of the former library in Saintes, with its clock and dome, surrounded by old buildings with tiled roofs. The reverse features a handwritten correspondence addressed to Monsieur and Madame Belliard in Paris, with a 25-centime postmark and a dispatch stamp from Saintes dated May 6, 1917.
