Panoramic view of Sallanches with the Évaux stream and the Four Heads in the background, under a cloudy sky. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated September 21, 1913, sent from Sallanches to a close person, recounting a hike to Chamonix and the Balme Pass. The stamp and postmark are visible.
