Description

Marble sculpture titled 'The Shroud' by A. Jacopin, exhibited at the Salon of 1908, depicting a man lying down with a weapon beside him and a pigeon perched on the base. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 26-5-1915, sent to Madame Leuve in Ambleny, with a postal mark 'RETPOST' and an address in Germany.
