Black and white illustration of the tomb of Sultan Mehmed, with a man in traditional attire holding a book in front of an ornate mausoleum. Printed text at the bottom: 'SALON DE 1911 — R. Ernst — Société des Artistes Français — 5230 dt. — ND Phot.' The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated June 19, 1911, addressed to 'Alice', mentioning events in Vichy and Palavas, as well as a French postmark with cancellation.
