Black-and-white panoramic view of the village of San Bernardino (1626 m) nestled in a mountain valley, with Mount Bernardo (2724 m) in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 7, 1938, sent from San Bernardino (Grisons) to relatives in France, mentioning an excellent holiday in a first-class hotel. The Swiss 10-franc stamp is postmarked Davos, August 8, 1938.
