Nurse in uniform with a red cross on the sleeve and bonnet, sitting near a medical tent in a rural setting. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 31, 1915, sent from Marseille to Étienne, mentioning recent correspondence and a recent battle to which the letter is linked. Postmark and cancellation not visible.
