Description

View of Saumur Castle, built in the 11th century by Foulques Nerra, Count of Anjou, and renovated in the 16th century. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated 16-4-17 addressed to Monsieur Mathieu in Narbonne, with a stamp and cancellation from La Ferté-Macé (Maine-et-Loire) dated 21-3-17.
