Description

Village scene with several people sitting on steps and chairs, sewing or conversing, surrounded by chickens on a paved floor. Printed text at the top: 'Rural Scenes Afternoon in the Village'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Madeleine Gard in Vigne Saint-Paul, with a 5c stamp and a postmark from Vienna dated 26-10-1901.
